buying &selling music

I love the fact that music is much more easier to access thanks to the internet. YouTube, Pandora, LaLa, Last FM, random blogs... I love their existence; something new to hear or just an extended selection (lives and whatnots) of a particular artist is just pretty much a couple clicks away. I don't think ripping and sharing files over the internet is bad--in a lot of cases, I probably would never have discovered certain artists and bands. I feel that the internet helps a lot of bands substantially, especially with their initial debut album and getting noticed. If I love an album enough, I will purchase it in the flesh. I don't want to buy what I do not want to have.

  1. I used to be just like you until Limewire gave me a horrible virus. I believe itunes is the way to go. I guess i think like the guy in the video we watched.

  2. I agree with you completely when you talk about music being more accessible. I don't like to spend the money on something for one song, or spend money on it before I can here it all the way.

  3. it's just so nice to have it right at your fingertips. Why would you spend money on it. Why not find out what you like and then spend the money on their shows. They don't make money off record sales anyway, so why not support them where you know they're getting paid. Let them give up a little (money from records) to get a lot (money from endorsements, shows, etc.)
